Finally, the time has come. The first free digital elevation model for the African continent - Rwanda: OpenDemSearcher
The 10 meter DTM was created by the Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC) and National Land Authority (NLA) (CC-BY-SA 4.0).

BathymetrySearcher updatet
Since the NOAA WMS service dem_extents is no longer online, the data is now read from the new AGS FeatureService ncei_dem_extents and was processed locally. Check out the viewer for the current processing date. The NOAA data or metadata downloads can now be displayed directly via the object information.

New high resolution DEMs added to OpenDemSearcher
- Romania 2m DTM - 1 m resolution is also available in parts
- ArcticDEM 2m DSM - data encompasses all land areas north of 60° north latitude, including the entirety of Greenland, Alaska (2007-2021), and the Kamchatka Peninsula of the Russian Federation.
- Antarctica 2m DSM
